A few months ago in my Media class we were discussing the increase of alcohol-fueled violence that has been occuring the streets of Melbourne recently.
Some of the people in my class said they see "punch ons" every time they go out and others, such as myself, have never seen a fist fight when out in the city.
Our tutor then proposed an interesting question, what if instead of alcohol being legal and pot illegal, we reversed the laws and pot became legal and alcohol became illegal? It was an interesting thought.
Imagine a world where everyone's got the giggles and have always got the munchies!!!
Love Cedric!
xx.
P.S. This is a bit of fun. Drugs are bad and if this situation was true, there would be a hell of a lot of schitzophrenic's amongst us! Not a good thing!

Seductive Accents
So on the weekend I was at a party, a Halloween party, and I ended up becoming a little more than friendly with a rather attractive young man from Norway. (To clarify, we just kissed!)
My question to all you bloggers out there is,
What is it about accents that send girls crazy?
He had an accent and as soon as he introduced himself to me, I was determined to make a move.
Whether is be English, Irish, South African, American (see below) or Italian, the effect leaves many a girl swooning. I know I'm a sucker for a foreign accent and so are most of my girlfriends.
Many peope have said that in recent times that Australia is becoming too "American", with our T.V. screens and radios full of American produced entertainment. One would comfortable assume then, that we would be more immune to the lure of an American accent if we are hearing it constantly. I say that this is not the case.
Girls, if you ran into an American guy at a party I have no doubts that you would do your absolute best to fight off the other girls and talk to him, especially if he's cute.
One of my friends is American and after months of knowing her, I still find myself fascinated by her accent.
I'm wondering how I'll cope when one of Helsinki's friends comes over from England next year. No doubt it will take me some time to adjust and stop staring dreamily!
xx. Cedric
ps. My Norwegian friend left the party without saying goodbye! =(

Welcome back Cedric!
Well, I must say it has been much too long between posts and as you can see by my last one, I havn't been the most dedicated blogger! However, that is all about to change! =D
So much has happened and changed since my last post, so I'll give you a quick summary of the major events of the past few months:
May: My parents both went overseas for 2 months (F.Y.I. they are divorced and coincedently planned their trips at the same time. and No, they did not bump into each other in Europe.)
My brother and I had 2 houses to ourselves for 2 months, and it was so much fun!
June: -One week before my dad came back from overseas, I had a car accident. I was driving at dusk on my way from work to Deakin when I rear-ended a car waiting to turn right. I wrote off both my car and the other car! Well done me! No-one was injured, except Shorty (my car), who had to be out down :(
-I also started a new job at the Royal District Nursing Service as a Customer Service Operator. I will elaborate on my job in an upcoming blog.
July: I can't remember and major events in July. I'm sure there was something exciting that happened however I do need to consult my calender. *stay tuned*
August: August was crazy busy! Between work and the amaetur theatre show I was involved in, BustCo's 21st Birthday Variety Show, it was a busy month.
The show was incredible! I met so many amazing people that I'm sure to be friends with for years to come! AND when Helsinki returns from the Motherland, I can introducer to them (being a formet thearte person herself)!
September: There was nothing too exciting about September. Uni started again and I decided to complete this semester as a part-time student, which has given me much more time to work and be lazy at home!
And now it's October! It was my 19th birthday a few weeks back, which was uber fun! I met comedian Josh Thomas (check him out on youtube, hilarity will ensue!) which was awesome!
I think that's all for now, but stay tuned for more!
Much love,
xx. Cedric

people suck!---particularly older siblings!
so i have come to the conclusion that having an older sibling/s can be a wonderful thing for us youngsters! we can scam lifts, get alcohol (when we were underage), and generally get favoured by the parentals!
HOWEVER older siblings, mine in particular, are so selfish and think the world revolves around them!
for example, on sunday night my brother was going to stay at dads place, so i asked him if he could take a bag of uni books there so i didnt have to carry them around with me for no reason, and so i had the books i needed for the next few days! all was going to plan, until i arrive at dads last night to find there was no bag with my uni books! i thought to myself, oh well maybe they're upstairs.......THEY WERE NOT UPSTAIRS!
so i rung mums palce and discovered my older brother "forgot" to take 1 solitary bag out of the boot of his car and place it ANYWHERE at dads!
this is extra infuriating as we go to the same uni, but of course today he has his day off, so he cant even bring them to me at uni, so ive had to go through a whole day with none of my books, containing actual work! (le gasp, tash did homework, i know i cant believe it either!)
so thats why older siblings, well i should say MY older sibling absolutely sucks! it wasnt that hard of a task, remove 1 bag from the boot, but i guess that was much to difficult for my 20yrold brother!
pissed off,
CEDRIC!
